Biography
Dr. Jiang has been trained in the area of biomedical optical imaging with significant experience with both complex inverse computations and experiments in biomedical contexts. He has made pioneering contributions to diffuse optical tomography, fluorescence tomography, bioluminescence tomography, and quantitative photoacoustic tomography.

Biography
As an assistant professor in the UF Department of Radiation Oncology, Dr. Mamalui Hunter’s responsibilities at the University of Florida Health Proton Therapy Institute include patient treatment planning and quality assurance of radiation therapy devices. Her experience includes postdoctoral work at the New Jersey Institute of Technology and at Washington University, St. Louis where she also completed her medical physics residency training. A published researcher, her work has appeared in peer-reviewed medical journals including International Journal of Radiation Oncology Biology Physics, Physics in Medicine and Biology and Medical Physics. She is a member of the Association of Physicists in Medicine

Biography
HZ received his Ph.D. from the University of Munich in1978, followed by a postdoctoral year at the University of Houston, Texas. In 1979 he was appointed Ass. Prof. at the UIUC, where he was promoted to Assoc. Prof. in 1983 and Full Prof. of Physics in 1986. From 1989 - 2012 he was Chair for Exp. Phys. at the Ruhr-Univ. Bochum, Germany. Presently he is Guest Prof. at the Universities of Mainz and Uppsala. HZ is fellow of the APS, honorary Doctor of the KTH, Stockholm, and Adjunct Prof. of the UIUC. From 2000-2003 he was SAC member for the ESS, 2003-2005 SAC chairman of SINQ, 2007 – 2010 SAC chairman of the ILL. 2013 he became the MAINZ research awardee. 2017 HZ was elected member of the European Academy of Sciences. His teaching interest is in medical physics, his main research interests are in nanomagnetism, spintronics, x-ray and neutron scattering, and in magneto-optics.
